Chiropractor James Hummel D.C.
Dr. James Hummel has been a chiropractor in Seaford Delaware for over 20 years. Originally from a small town in central Pennsylvania, Dr. Hummel used to spend family vacations in Delaware and fell in love with that area. Dr. Hummel entered the Air Force in 1982 and after finishing basic training he was stationed at Biloxi AFB in Mississippi where he received training as an avionics technician.
Upon completing his education he was stationed at Dover Air Force base once again returning to Delaware. Dr. Hummel spent 9 years in the Air Force and is a proud veteran. After experiencing an injury to his low back where surgery was recommended, Hummel searched for an alternative that lead him to chiropractic. Shortly after beginning chiropractic care he was completely relieved of his back pain. This experience inspired him to begin his education as a chiropractor. Dr. Hummel entered the rigorous program at Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas and graduated in 1998. Once again he returned to Delaware and started Nanticoke Chiropractic Center in Seaford. Dr. Hummel continues to attend seminars to remain educated in the latest innovations in practice.
Dr. Hummel enjoys helping others to achieve wellness through chiropractic care. He utilizes many different techniques based on the needs of his patients. One such technique is the Impulse adjusting instrument. This device provides gentle, low-force treatment that is applicable to all ages of patients.
When not in the office, Dr. Hummel enjoys boating, offshore fishing, motorcycle riding, and traveling with his wife and two children.
